MITEK SERVICE CALLS
Mitek Computers is one
of the few service centers in Central KY that still offers onsite
service calls at your home or business. Our rates are some of the
most competitive in the business. Service call rates are dependent
upon the geographic area you live in. Check out our service call ma
located here to see which region you are located in and what the
rates are for your particular area. If Mitek performs a service
call, and we determine we cannot repair the system at your home, we
will give you the option of our technician taking the system to our
service center for repairs.
You can choose to either have US return the system once the repairs
are completed or you can pickup the system personally.
Rates for this type service are determined on a case by case basis.
Please note,
all payments are due immediately upon the service being performed.
We accept personal or business checks, PayPal, all major credit
cards, and cash. Our technicians do NOT carry change at all. In most
instances we prefer checks or credit cards.
RESIDENTIAL
SERVICE CALL RATES INSIDE MADISON COUNTY LABOR ONLY.
First hour with travel included: $60.00 . Additional time period
past first hour figured at $12.50 per quarter hr or $50.00 per hour.
Once onsite and we determine we will be at your location longer than
2 hours, we may offer you a reduced rate or package deal. In some
instances it may be less expensive if we simply pick up the system
and repair it our service center. Once the system is repaired you
will have the option to either pick up the system yourself, or have
the system returned to you by our staff. Cost associated with this
are determined on a case by case and system by system basis.
COMMERCIAL
SERVICE CALL RATES INSIDE MADISON COUNTY LABOR ONLY.
First hour with travel included: $75.00 . Additional time period
past first hour figured at $15.00 per quarter hr or $60.00 per hour.
Once onsite and we determine we will be at your location longer than
2 hours, we may offer you a reduced rate or package deal. In some
instances it may be less expensive if we simply pick up the system
and repair it our service center IF POSSIBLE. Once the system is
repaired you will have the option to either pick up the system
yourself, or have the system returned to you by our staff. Cost
associated with this are determined on a case by case and system by
system basis.
Please Note:
Minimum 1 hour rate applies on all service calls. If Mitek is onsite
whether for 10 minutes or 59 minutes the charge is the same for
first hour. If our technician finishes the call faster than
expected, he will ask if there are any other problems, and will
continue working on the system doing maintenance cleanup etc until
the first hr time slot has been filled. If you feel no other repairs
or maintenance are necessary our technician will leave once payment
has been received. Please make sure someone is onsite to pay for the
service call. We only offer net terms to businesses we have worked
with in the past and
only then if arrangements are made beforehand. We do not service any
systems on a purchase order basis. We have tried this in the past,
and its just a sad fact that a few bad apples ruin it for the rest,
but alas that is the case.
If you require net terms you must clear it with our headquarters
beforehand, as technicians do not have the ability or the authority
to offer net terms to any customer. You must call our office if you
wish to negotiate net terms. Net terms will be 25% additional in all
cases with late fees applied after 10 days at the maximum legal
limit for the state of KY (currently 20% of the total invoice per
every 30 day period up to 90 days. After 90 days we turn the invoice
over to a collection agency and they contact D&B and collect on the
invoice.
