Information and Addendum
Unless otherwise noted all Mitek Computers In House Refurbished Laptops carry a one year (1 Year) hardware ONLY warranty excluding batteries and power adapters on laptops.
Desktop systems refurbished by Mitek Computers also have a one year (1 year) hardware only warranty exclding mice, keyboards, and/or monitors
All systems from Mitek Computers are Grade A+/A/A- refurbished systems. We refuse to sell cheap Grade B and Grade C junk of any kind. We promise our systems are the cleanest looking almost new systems you will find anywhere at any price. Our customers state they cannot tell the difference between our refurbished systems and what can be purchased new.
Our systems are high end off lease corporate gently used systems and you can easily tell simply by looking at them and the quality at which they are refurbished. We cut no corners. These sysems are price at anywhere from 50% to 75% of their original retail price. We have literally sold hundreds of these systems over the years and have had very few failures at all during teh warranty period. These systems are rock solid and are MUCH better built than consumer models in many cases.
Systems are pre order and can take from 3 to 7 business days for delivery to the buyer. We go through and test each and every system thoroughly before it leaves our shop. IN some cases we may require a 50% down payment. Money can not be returned as these are custom order systems built for you by us. We accept cash, checks, and credit and debit cards. Credit and debit cards incur an additional 5% added to the invoice due to the huge merchant fees we must pay in order to accept plastic.
All systems come pre-loaded with Windows 10 Home or Pro , Windows 11 or Zorin OR Mint Linux with the Cinnamon Desktop. We can install any OS you desire but these are what normally come with our systems.
If you want Windows 10 support and security patches past the October 2025 deadline, Microsoft is supposedly offering an extended support period for one year at $30.00 . You have to deal with Microsoft in order to get this extension. As far as we know we will not have the opportunity to offer these extensions. So far there has been no information on whether Microsoft will offer this extension again after October 2026. We have no information on when this will be available and how you can get it. Its just what we have been told by Microsoft. We will update the information on our website as soon as its available to us. Windows 10 LTSC IoT (Professional Version)
Windows 10 OS Good Until 2032
We also now have access to Windows 10 IoT LTSC which is a volume license normally not available to consumers. However we are offering 100% legal LTSC IoT licenses for $45.00 per system. This gives you Windows 10 Professional with UPDATEs and PATCHES through the year 2032. Hopefully by then Microsoft will have released Windows 12. In all bluntness we simply are not huge fans of Windows 11 at all. In the end however the choice of operating system is determined by the buyer. Let us know ahead of time which OS you prefer and we will load the system however you wish. We also have access to Windows 11 LTSC versions as well at a different price point. Email us for details.
Please understand Microsoft keeps making it harder and harder for systems less than 6 months old to pass the so called hardware requirements for Windows 11. This means that if you opt for Windows 10 and then wish to upgrade to Windows 11 more than likely you will be unable to do so as installing as an in place upgrade. HOWEVER if you create backups of your system and install Windows 11 from scratch it will install no problem at all. You simply need to use a program called Rufus available at https://rufus.ie/en/ . This program will create a bootable USB flash drive for you. You will need an 16G of MemoryB or larger flash drive in order to create the bootable flash drive.
Once the drive has been created you simply boot to it and Windows 11 will install on your system no problem at all.

Mitek Watchdog Software (Anti Virus and Anti Malware Lifetime)
We offer Watchdog anti virus and anti spyware good for the life on any system we sell for just $59.00 per system. You must purchase a license for each system you own in order for the license to be good for the life of that system. We sell this program standalone as well. You do not have to purchase a systems from us to have the Watchdog program available to you. What we can say in no uncertain terms is we have been offering Watchdog for many years now and EVERY customer that has ever opurchased it always purchases a new license for any new system they get whether purchased from us or not. Watchdog is just one great program...period.
